Your testing location is already decided: we're right here
Most students waste time hunting for an approved testing location. At Triad Aviation Academy, you don't have to. Our FAA-approved PSI Testing Center is inside our facility at 1030 PTI Drive, within the Piedmont Triad International Airport.
Multiple testing stations, experienced staff, and a setting you already know, so you can walk in focused, not frazzled. We're also open to aviation students from surrounding colleges and universities, and to all flight and A&P mechanic students, regardless of where you're training.
Testing hours and USPS exam availability
Testing Center Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET (except New Year's Day, Easter, and Christmas).
We also reserve weekly exam time for US Postal Service (USPS) exams, Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. USPS students must schedule directly through the PSI testing website.

Two steps to register and schedule your exam
Get your FAA Number via IACRA
Visit the FAA's Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) at iacra.faa.gov and register for your unique FAA tracking number. Need help? Call 888-317-7749 or check the IACRA Help Page.
Schedule on the PSI Website
Once you have your FAA number, go to candidate.psiexams.com and book your exam slot. You can test the same day you receive your FAA number, just register at least 2 hours before your appointment.
