Yes. Both Stratus Financial and Meritize offer options to defer your loan payments. With Stratus Financial, you can defer payments for up to 12 months while you complete your training and find a job, meaning you can focus 100% of your energy on your flight hours.
Under VA rules, flight training benefits generally apply to vocational programs like Instrument, Commercial, and CFI ratings. A standalone Private Pilot License (PPL) is typically not covered unless it is part of an approved college degree program, such as our partnership with Liberty University.
